What transport services does BSI offer?
We provide a wide range of transport and logistics services across the UK and Europe, including general haulage, pallet distribution, event and exhibition transport, specialist movements and warehousing. With a varied fleet and experienced team, we can tailor the service around your load and delivery requirements.
Can you transport goods across Europe?
Yes. BSI operates throughout the UK and Europe, providing full-load, part-load and groupage services, as well as European pallet distribution.
Can BSI help with Carnets and European paperwork?
Yes. Our experienced team can assist with the documentation required for international and temporary movements, including ATA Carnets for eligible goods travelling to events, exhibitions and other destinations.
Do you provide transport for events and exhibitions?
Yes. Event logistics is a key part of what we do. Our specialist fleet can support exhibitions, concerts, theatre productions and other events, transporting everything from exhibition equipment to sound, lighting and stage equipment.
What size loads can you transport?
Our varied fleet allows us to handle everything from smaller consignments through to larger and specialist loads. Vehicles range from vans and 7.5- and 18-tonne vehicles through to articulated vehicles operating at up to 44 tonnes, with curtain-side, box, flatbed, plant and specialist trailer options available.
Do you offer pallet deliveries?
Yes. As a member of UPN, BSI provides next-day and economy pallet distribution throughout the UK, alongside services to Ireland and Europe. We can accommodate anything from individual pallets to larger palletised consignments.
Can I track my delivery?
Yes. Our vehicles use tracking technology to help us monitor the location of your goods, and our digital systems provide electronic proof of delivery once your consignment has arrived.
Do you offer warehousing and storage?
Yes. BSI can provide storage alongside our transport services, giving customers a convenient solution when goods need to be held before onward delivery. I’d have BSI confirm the exact facilities/capacity before putting specifics such as pallet spaces or square footage on the new site.
Can you handle unusual or specialist loads?
Yes. Our fleet includes flatbed, plant, sliding-roof, tail-lift and other trailer configurations, allowing us to accommodate a wide variety of freight and specialist transport requirements. Speak to our team about your load and we’ll recommend the most suitable solution.
